As anyone even remotely interested in Super Smash Bros. Brawl probably knows, the game has vacated the once-jam-packed holiday 2007 release window to the now-jam-packed early Q1 2008. However, like a merciless dominatrix, Nintendo continues to whip the game's rabid fan base into a frenzy by announcing oft-requested features for its high-profile brawler.
Today, the publisher updated the game's official Web site with word that Super Smash Bros. Brawl will include online video playback. Gamers will be able to record up to three minutes of footage, and then send the data to those on their Wii Friends lists. Online seems to be a greater emphasis this time out, considering that the publisher officially confirmed last month that gamers will be able to brawl against friends and perfect strangers online.
Mario and his iconic crew will (hopefully) be available February 10, exclusively for the Wii.
